Data heading descriptions DEWLT:
unique - unique identifier field in MSS deepwater survey database
vessel – name of research vessel
survey – description of MSS survey
sic – scientist in charge of survey
gear – acronym describing type of MSS demersal research used
cruisenumber – MSS survey code
year – year during which survey was undertaken
haul – denotes the trawl survey haul number for that particular record
date – date that particular haul was recorded (dd/mm/yyyy)
tstart – start time (UTC) of trawl
tstop - stop time (UTC) of trawl
durationmin – haul duration/ time trawl spent on seabed in minutes
depth – average depth (m) from the surface recorded during survey haul
maxdepth – maximum depth (m) from attached minilogger (if available)
mintemp – minimum temperature (C) from attached minilogger (if available)
declatshot – shooting position: decimal degrees of latitude
declongshot – shooting position: decimal degrees of longitude
declathaul – hauling position: decimal degrees of latitude
declonghaul – hauling position: decimal degrees of longitude
valid/foul – whether trawl is sored as valid or foul
