Data heading descriptions DCWL:
unique - unique identifier field in MSS deepwater survey database
cruisenumber – MSS survey code
year – year during which survey was undertaken
haul – denotes the trawl survey haul number for that particular record
trawl – six figure official haul number
species - 3 letter code used by MSS to identify species
ScientificName - Scientific name of the species
lengthQ – type of measurement: TL (total length = tip of snout to end of tail), PSCFL (pre supra caudal fin length = tip of the snout to the point just before the start of the supra caudal fin, 2DFL (tip of the snout to the end of the second dorsal fin)
length – measurement to cm below
sex - gender
weight – weight in grammes
