A bathymetric survey of Tiree has been carried out by Marine Scotland, the British Geological Survey team (BGS) and the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB). This data has been tide corrected and cleaned. It is available to download here in several formats.

| Data Dictionary | Original bathymetry dataset is tide corrected using predicted tide model. ASCII ArcGrid output is converted to raster (geotiff format). ESRI Spatial analyst tools used to created additional products (Hillshade, aspect, slope and rugosity). These are combined into a layer package for use with ArcGIS and a KMZ package for use with Google Earth. Two potential cable routes were also surveyed during this project. These have been processed in the same way. |
