Shellfish production statistics is divided into two groups: For the table (consumption) and for on-growing to other producers/businesses.
Please note that in the 2017 update of the day, we changed reporting from thousands of shells to the actual number presented in columns
For each category numbers are provided for
Pacific Oysters - Number of pacific oysters produced
Native oysters - Number of native oysters produced
Queen scallops - Number of Queen Scallops produced
Scallop - Numberof Scallops produced
Mussels - Tonnes of mussels produced

Please note
The value for Pacific Oyster in 2016 has been corrected as of 12th January 2022.
One previous value was wrongly entered - the original published value was 35,340,000 but should be 3,534,000. This is now corrected in the downloadable file.
