The sentinel cage sampling information file, contains the following columns:
Survey series: an identifying name for the survey series
Deployment date: date cage was stocked with fish
Recovery date: date samples were taken from cage
Sampling Note: notes on issues with sampling
Sampled fish number: number of individual fish sampled within cage
Cage number - A unique identifier for each cage which links back to station information
Fish length_mm: Length of fish expressed in millimetres
Fish Species: common name of species sampled in this case Salmon refers to Salmo salar only.
HEAD+OPER, MOUTH/GILLS, ANT.DORS, POST.DORS, ANT.VENT, POST.VENT, DORSAL, PECTORAL, PELVIC, ANAL, ADIPOSE and CAUDAL- these all refer to the locations of fish where lice may occur, number of lice found in each location recorded
BAG/ BIN – refers to if the fish was preserved for further analysis
TOTAL : Number of lice reported on the fish
