Marine Directorate manages quota for fish stocks and all inshore fisheries within the 12 nautical mile territorial water limit. It is also responsible for controlling the activities of fishing vessels and fishing effort (days spent at sea) in the North Sea, west of Scotland and Faroese waters.

This report summarises the research undertaken during a 10 year project assessing the interaction between sea lice and wild salmon. The project was funded by the Scottish Government and involved numerous collaborations. A list of outputs from the project is given, together details of related projects.
