Data Dictionary | Marine Scotland has established a programme of research to develop a juvenile assessment method that can be used to determine the status of salmon populations at a range of spatial scales. The National Electrofishing Programme for Scotland (NEPS) provides the electrofishing data required to support this work. NEPS has been designed using a stratified, unequal probability, generalised random tessellation stratified (GRTS) sample. An overview of the network design is provided here: http://www.gov.scot/Resource/0053/00538332.pdf Further details of NEPS and the wider work programme can be found at: https://www.gov.scot/Topics/marine/Salmon-Trout-Coarse/Freshwater/Monito... |
